Akshay Kumar, who is originally called Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia worked in Bangkok as awaiter, expert in martial arts, he is often referred to as the bruce lee of india.. Though his filmi career is not upto the mark, he is widely known as Khiladi Kumar in the Bollywood for the kind of man that he is, for his life style, for his affairs with a lot of career girls almost in a way to break up in the end.

His debut film was Saugandh which was released in 1991. He always prefer to do adventurous movies in which he do all his stunt scene on his own. He was well known for his 'Khiladi' series an Indian version of James Bond such as Mr. Bond (1992), Khiladi (1992), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Mr. & Mrs. Khiladi (1997) and Khiladi 420 (2000).

Akshay Kumar has more than 55 films in his bag to date and his every fifth movie is worth either named or having a tag - KhiladiI. He looks handsome and keeps himself fit with a healthy stature, he strives much harder in order to prove his mettle through a lot of hard work and determination. He rather seems to be lot more career - oriented than the rest of the stars

He dated with his many co-stars including Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Pooja Batra. But finally he got married to Twinkle Khanna. He has a son named "Araav" born on 15th September 2002".
